Do you have a favorite item in the store?
AB: I’m wearing my favorite item. It’s this necklace, just one gold and one silver rectangle.

What is the most embarrassing trend you used to love?
AB: Probably pants where you would wear them really, really baggy and have your boxers sticking out. The pants were huge and they were practically falling down. I did that.

What is your guilty pleasure?
AB: I like to watch movies over and over again, like Harry Potter or Aliens. I’ll put one in and crochet or sit with my cat.

How did you get the name for your boutique?
AB: Elsie Fergusson is the “Else” in Something Else.

What is your go-to saying or motto?
AB: I have go-to movies, go-to clothing, go-to jewelry, but as far as a saying, I think everything I say is X-rated. Most of my go-to things are completely unquotable.

What is no outfit complete without?
AB: Jewelry can really make an outfit. If you have a whole black outfit and you have a great piece of jewelry on, everyone will keep saying, ‘Oh my gosh, you look so great!’

What are your favorite and least favorite trends?
AB: One of the things I like is that plus-sized models are out there. I’m really excited about that. When I found out there were plus-sized bloggers and models, I was like, “Maybe there’s hope.” What I really hate is when women wear leggings as pants. They’re an accessory.
