Make your own Valentine's arrangement at Local Color Flowers. -Facebook.

Five things to eat, drink, see, hear, and do with your Charm City weekend.

EAT

Feb. 12: The Local Fry 2-Year Anniversary Party

The Local Fry, 21 E Cross St. 12-4 p.m. Free.

It’s sun’s out, buns out this weekend at The Local Fry’s two-year anniversary party. Nothing helps to cure the Sunday scaries more than a heaping pile of special off-menu fries and savory Asian buns from Ekiben in Fells Point for a mash-up of cultural flavors. Expect to see Korean, Irish, Indian, and Ethiopian inspired fillings that can be enjoyed either inside fluffy buns or on top of crispy fries. The local eateries will also collaborate on Baltimore and Taiwanese-inspired wings. Plus, there will be Union Craft Brewing beers to wash it all down. We wish every two-year-old birthday party was this fun.

DRINK

Feb. 12: Fierce Chicks Rock's Mac & Cheese Cook-Off

Peabody Heights Brewery, 401 E. 30th St. 5-8 p.m. $5-25.

If you thought Valentine’s Day couldn’t get any cheesier, think again. This Sunday, Fierce Chicks Rock will host their fourth annual Mac & Cheese Cook-Off to benefit Moveable Feast. Unleash your inner Top Chef to compete for categories like Cheesiest, Best Meat, Best Vegan, People's Choice, Most Creative, and Best Pun. Luckily, Peabody Heights Brewery will be there to help with drafts of their Old Oriole Park beer, and if you’re an “official taste tester” type, you can buy a ticket for unlimited samplings—a surefire way to anyone’s heart.

SEE

Feb. 11: Tassels & Champagne

Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave. 7 & 10 p.m. $22-250.

Celebrate love like they did in the golden age of burlesque with the Gilded Lily Burlesque’s tribute to “The Great American Songbook.” This year’s performance of the classic burlesque “Tassels and Champagne” pays homage to mid-century legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holliday, and more. Grab your own Rat Pack, tip back a champagne coupe, and let the crooners transport you to a 1950s nightclub.

HEAR

Feb. 11: Psycho Killers

Rams Head Live, 20 Market Pl. 8 p.m.-1 a.m. $16.50.

Baltimore’s own Talking Heads tribute band adds some romance to their usual David Byrne repertoire and brings you selected love songs at their annual Valentine’s Day concert. Get ready for fan favorites like Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved,” The Beatles’ “Oh Darling,” and Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing,” and, hopefully, our all-time favorite “This Must Be the Place.” Nothing says love like a funky night of music, a hint of tambourine, and psychedelic lights.

DO

Feb. 12: Local Color Flowers Valentine's Day Open Studio

Local Color Flowers, 3100 Brentwood Ave. 10 a.m.-12 p.m. $30-75.

Skip the cliché rose bouquet this Valentine’s Day weekend and make your own personalized flower creation for that special someone in your life. (It can be for you, your mom, or your cat—no judgments here). Arrange anemones, carnations, paperwhites, tulips, and tropical foliage into a perfumed posy that is sure to brighten even the darkest days of winter . . . or to prevent your mom from asking, yet again, why you’re still single on Valentine’s.
