Nine Inch Nails are on the North Stage right now. Bob Dylan is finishing up on the South Stage. After Dylan it will be Kanye. Finally. Judging from the comments I've overheard this weekend, Kanye West was the big draw at this festival. There were some other acts that attracted interest, sure, but, for the most part, I got the impression that people could take or leave most of the bill. Not Kanye though.
Because of Lil' Wayne, the South Stage is running about a half hour behind schedule. It will be interesting to see if Kanye takes the stage on time and how much of a set he'll be able to squeeze in before the neighborhood noise ordnances force the festival to pull the plug. After his four-hour hold up at Bonaroo earlier this summer, everyone will be wary of any delay, so he better be on his best behavior. These people came to see you, Mr. West. You better give 'em a show.
