As part of our Fall Arts Preview two years ago, I posed two questions to various artists around town: What piece of art (visual art/film/literature/music/dance/whatever) changed your life? And how did it affect you? Max Weiss asks a similar question in the Baltimore Grill each month, and the answers are often entertaining and insightful. In fact, the Fall Arts responses were fantastic, and I got tons of great feedback about them.
I've long wanted to resurrect the concept in some form, so here it is. Each Friday, I'll be posting a response, from a local or visiting artist, to those same questions. Feel free to contact me with suggestions for future subjects.
First up, David Simon.
