Have you been keeping up with The New York Times Magazine's serialization of Laura Lippman's The Girl in the Green Raincoat? And a book of Lippman's short stories, Hardly Knew Her, came out this week. She'll read from the book, this Friday at noon, at Barnes & Noble in Charles Village. Dennis Lehane will be there, too. That's an excellent double bill.
It's part of this year's Bouchercon, a convention of 1,500 mystery writers that descends on Baltimore this week (Oct 9-12). Lippman is the convention's "American Guest of Honor."
