The Jewish Museum celebrates Purim this Thursday night with an intriguing mix of acrobatics (contortionist Lisa Appel), music (DJ Booth), spirits (beer and wine), and the art of graphic novelist JT Waldman, whose illustrations for Megillat Esther—an edgy take on the Book of Esther—will be exhibited at the museum. The party starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
