Tomorrow's Station North Spring Music Festival kicks off an amazing day for Baltimore music lovers. The Station North fest runs from 4 to 9 pm at Charles and North Avenue and features half a dozen acts (including Bearkat and DJ Pablo Fiasco). While you're in the area, you can also catch the amazing Owen Pallett—have you heard Dan Deacon's nifty remix of "Lewis Takes Action"?—at Metro Gallery and Rapdragons' record release party across the street at The Hexagon. Later, there's live music at Joe Squared, Westnorth Gallery, and Cyclops Books, so you can make a day and night of it.
But there's more, much more.
At The Ottobar, The Oranges Band celebrate a decade of crafting smart indie rock and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Spoon, Guided By Voices, and The Hold Steady.
And All Mighty Senators play 8x10.
Citizen Cope plays Rams Head.
Carl Filipiak and the Jimi Jazz Trio play the Cat's Eye.
Pianist Jenny Lin appears at An die Musik.
And guitarist Manuel Barrueco gives a recital at Towson University's Kaplan Concert Hall.
Good luck choosing.
