Wire to Wire

Last night, I caught Megan Anderson's excellent performance in David Harrower's play, Blackbird, at Everyman. Fans of The Wire know Anderson as Jennifer Carcetti, the mayor's wife. Exiting the theater, I promptly spotted Sonja Sohn, who played Detective Kima Greggs on The Wire, outside Tapas Teatro. Turning the corner, I half expected to see Stringer Bell. Wire fans should also be on the lookout for the newly expanded edition of Rafael Alvarez's book The Wire: Truth Be Told. And Alvarez will have a piece in the July issue of Baltimore.
