Deacon Will Score Next Coppola Film

Dan Deacon will be scoring Francis Ford Coppola's next film, Twixt Now and Sunrise. It's quite a coup for the Wham City co-founder, who's on the cover of our current "Power" issue. I would have figured Deacon would be a better bet to score a Sofia Coppola film. In fact, I wonder if Sofia hipped her dad to Deacon. Starring Val Kilmer, the movie's been dubbed a "gothic romance," and it will be fascinating to hear what Deacon adds to it. Deacon's pr folks also mentioned that he's be collaborating with the legendary filmmaker "on a larger level," but no more info was given. Stay tuned.
