What to Do, What to Do?

Lots of great music this weekend, especially tonight. Baltimore’s premier funkateers, All Mighty Senators, tear the roof off 8x10, Microkingdom (w/ Violet Hour opening!) plays a CD release show at Windup Space, and jazz drummer Eric Kennedy kicks off his residency at An die Musik with performances at 8 pm & 9:30. Saturday morning at 10, Kennedy will also lead a jazz clinic at An die, and students are urged to attend. That night, pianist Chuchito Valdes plays a rare solo show at the club.

The faux Fab Four, Beatlemania Now, invades the Hippodrome Saturday and Sunday.

And Shooting Star, a Donald Hicken-directed play about former lovers meeting by chance during an airport layover, opens at Everyman.
