DJ/Producer/B'more Gutter impresario Aaron LaCrate has teamed up with John Waters for a new t-shirt that's part of the Milkcrate clothing line. It features an image from one of Waters's art pieces—a campaign button, 60 inches in diameter, that reads "Have Sex in a Voting Booth." Check it out in the above video, at the 1:08 mark.
"He gave me a great pitch," says Waters of LaCrate, "and any kid that had the first skate shop in Highlandtown and clawed his way to Brooklyn is my kind of kid-turned-man. He's ambitious, but he's never sold out."
Of the original artwork that inspired the t-shirt, Waters says: "Why not have sex in a voting booth? It would certainly get people more excited about voting, and it's my way of being more patriotic. And if you can't have sex when you vote, you should, at least, touch yourself."
