The Tradesmen: Making an Art of Work, a new documentary by Richard Yeagley, premieres at the Charles tonight.
The film recontextualizes the work of tradespeople and skilled craftsmen by appreciating its artistry, as well as its practicality and function. After watching Yeagley's film, you'll have a deeper appreciation for the work of plumbers and stonemasons. You'll certainly never take their work for granted.
And Baltimoreans will recognize some familiar faces, including sculptor Brent Crothers.
The screening starts at 7 pm.
