The Wham City founding, Francis Ford Coppola collaborating, party starting dynamo Dan Deacon has signed a deal with Domino Records—home to the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand—for worldwide distribution of his next record, to be released sometime next year.
In the meantime, Deacon has shows scheduled around the world over the next few months, with dates in Austin, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Tokyo, Seoul, and Christchurch, New Zealand. He plays the Ottobar on December 16, with an ensemble that includes drummer Denny Bowen (formerly of Double Dagger)
