Nancy Haragan Will Be Missed

The Baltimore arts community lost one of its champions when Nancy Haragan passed away last night. Haragan created the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance and served as its director until being diagnosed with a brain tumor a few years ago. At some point, just about everyone in the local arts community came into contact with Haragan, and they usually came away feeling inspired about its direction and potential. She will be missed. At this point, no plans have been made for a memorial.
