Esopus magazine isn't an art magazine. It is art. Founded by Carroll County native Tod Lippy, Esopus includes artist projects, fiction, photography, poetry, archival material, film stills, posters, and a CD of original music (based on a theme) in every issue. It's replaced Nest (which folded a few years back) on my coffee table, and Lippy's curatorial/editorial skills never fail to astonish me. The guy's a miracle worker.
