Ex-Ponytail guitarist Dustin Wong just posted the first song to come out of his intriguing "Say Your Dream, Create a Sound" project. To coincide with the release of his new solo disc (Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads), Wong asked friends and fans to recount and record descriptions of their dreams on his Soundcloud page. Then, he created original songs based on five of the dreams, and he's posting the results this week. The first tune, inspired by a dream from Dave Sutton, is called "Gold Dust and Skateboarding" and can be heard here. The new CD comes out tomorrow (you can read my review from our February issue here), and don't forget that Wong plays a pair of Soft House gigs on February 25th and 26th.
