What to Do? What to Do?

Tonight, saxophonist Carl Grubbs premieres the reinvention of his Inner Harbor Suite as a jazz/classical hybrid. He's added a string section led by BSO violist Peter Minkler, and the resulting band figures to be something of an eight-piece swing section. On a holiday weekend, it's definitely worth heading to the Walters for this unique collaboration between two Baker Artist Prize winners. The show starts at 8 pm.

Afro-Beat fans will want to check out D.C.'s Elikeh at the Creative Alliance. Tickets are $10, and traditional African food can be had for just five bucks!

Don't forget that Everyman's thrilling production of The Brothers Size is winding down, same goes for Centerstage's fantastic take on Sondheim's Into the Woods. Both shows close April 15.

12 issues for $18!
