Woke Up Thinking About Brothers Size

When the alarm went off this morning, my wife rolled over and said, "That was an amazing play." We spent the next 15 minutes lying there talking about the production of The Brothers Size that we saw last night at Everyman. Tough and tender, it figures to inspire conversations—in homes, schools, offices—for days, months, and, possibly, years to come. Other plays will be judged against it. That's all I'll say for now—no spoilers here, in case you haven't seen it.

And I'll never hear Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness"—featured prominently in a pivotal scene—without thinking of this amazing production, which runs through April 15.
