What piece of art changed your life? How did it affect you?
Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright showed me how a spiritual sense of the natural could manifest as the beautiful.
This is the most succinct response I’ve ever gotten to this question. Make of it what you may. Michael Nesmith brings his “Movies of the Mind Tour” to Rams Head in Annapolis tomorrow night. The show will focus on Nesmith’s post-Monkees material, which Rolling Stone called “the greatest music never heard.” Some folks forget that Nesmith was the actual musician in that made-for-TV group and, besides penning tunes like “Different Drum” for Linda Ronstadt and the Stone Poneys, he also produced films like Repo Man and Tapeheads. He’s an interesting guy. Show starts at 8 pm.
