Honky Tonk Night at 1919

By John Lewis

Arty Hill and Caleb Stine play 1919 Fleet Street tonight at 9 pm. Hill has a new EP coming out, and Stine's new CD, Eyes So Strong and Clean, is his best recording to date. Does it seem as if Stine is everywhere, these days? It's a great double bill, featuring the city's premier honky tonk heroes, so you can expect a few tears in those beers.

While you're there, check out the great photos by proprietor Sally Hutchins on the walls. More on that in a later post.

  1. They're both great, but I love Arty's presence, and he's a nice guy.
