Readers Poll Winners at Rams Head

By John Lewis

The top three vote getters in our recent Best of Baltimore readers poll will play Rams Head Live this Thursday night. If you missed it, the Kelly Bell Band (pictured) came in at number 3, Can't Hang was runner-up at number 2, and Flipside took top honors. So we'll consider Thursday night's show something of a Battle of the Bands, and we'll see who draws the most fans. No matter what, it figures to be a spirited night of local music. Doors open at 8, tickets are 12 bucks.

  1. Well, it would seem to me based on those results that Flipside must have a dedicated (but obviously tin-eared) following... They aren't even in tune on their studio demos! Best of Baltimore? Ugh.

  3. I haven't heard much from either Can't Hang or Flipside, but I find it hard that anyone could beat the Kelly Bell Band!

  5. I guess no one has ever heard of Basshound, The Bridge, Colouring Lesson and many more...but Kelly Bell Band is the shit!...#3 give me a break...and who the hell is Flipside?

Can't Hang a good band but I think to actually have a competition like this you would really need to contact the main touring bands in Baltimore and have a battle of the bands and i'm not talking Battle of the Emo Shit..no offense to anyone.

  7. Check out the live video on my page of Can't Hang and listen to the new album, "Ride the Lightrail"...it kills!

  9. Well, then come out and see. I know the internet keeps you trapped in the house, but going to see three bands at Rams Head is much more fun. Less talk - more action!
