When Deanna Bogart emailed to say she'd be performing at the Pyramids, I figured she may be referring to the Pyramid arena in downtown Memphis. Memphis is a big blues town, so it made sense.

For months, it's been widely assumed that the Frank Zappa statue would be erected in Fells Point, but now, Highlandtown has entered the picture. Tickets to Whartscape—the sprawling, freewheeling indie music festival—go on sale at noon today. Venues include the BMA, Load of Fun, and the MICA Art Studio Center parking lot. Considering all the bands slated to perform, the mega-pass would seem to live up to its name.
