Because we are Baltimore magazine, we aren't generally in the habit of recommending D.C. events. After all, there's plenty to do right here in Charm City. Sometimes, however, it can't be helped. This month's concert by The Rolling Stones at Verizon Center is one of those times. The legendary rock-and-roll band will close out its North American tour with a stop at the D.C. venue on June 24. Mick, Keith, Ronnie, and Charlie have been touring to celebrate the iconic group's 50th anniversary, and will no doubt swagger their way through a set list bursting with hits ranging from the ominous '60s psychedelia of "Paint It, Black" through the harrowing swampy soul of "Gimme Shelter" to the sleek disco thump of "Miss You." See the band now, because though they keep rolling along, time won't always be on their side.
