Have you seen Paul Jury's "50 State Stereotypes (in 2 minutes)" YouTube video? If you haven't, a lot of other folks have—more than a million and counting, since it was uploaded a few days ago. Over the course of two minutes, he trots out a stereotype for each of the 50 states, and, although some of them are pretty funny, the Maryland piece is a total fail. A fellow holding a glass of wine says, "Have Jeeves bring the lobster boat around."
What?
I understand we're the richest state, but if you're talking about Maryland and you need to reference a steamed crustacean, lobster ain't it.
