I posted earlier about BoB winner Adam Meister's victory today, when Councilwoman Belinda Conaway dropped her $21 million defamation lawsuit against him. He emailed me with some thoughts on the events of the day, including an interaction with Conaway's father, veteran circuit court clerk and mayoral candidate Frank Conaway, Sr.
The best part about today was after the formal part of the hearing was complete Frank Conway Sr. approached me and said congratulations and put his hand out to shake my hand. I refused to shake his hand and I walked by him. How dare he try to make this seem like business as usual! What they put me through was wrong and I will NEVER forgive them. People need to support Nick Mosby for city council in the 7th district:
http://electnickmosby.com/I hope Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the other serious candidates for mayor, and Jack Young give their opinion about this situation. What do they think of sitting city council members suing citizens for millions of dollars and then dropping the suit at the last minute after the citizen had to deal with the frivolous lawsuit for months?
Belinda paints herself as a nice lady. This was NOT NICE. This lawsuit against me was ugly and mean. She should be ashamed.
