Kwame and Company

Since taking over as CenterStage artistic director in July, Kwame Kwei-Armah has done a great job reaching out to a wide variety of local arts organizations, politicos, and personalities. And the invites to his upcoming welcome party reflect exactly that. Featuring playful photos by Dean Alexander—he took the fabulous shots of Ethel Ennis in our March issue—they pair the charismatic Kwei-Armah with celebs such as 105.7's Ed Norris, restaurateur Tony Foreman, and mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
