Poor Gerry Sandusky, WBAL sports director and the voice of the Baltimore Ravens. He sure picked one horrible week to be named Gerry Sandusky.

So what's a guy supposed to do when he shares a very rare name (homonymously-speaking, at least) with the most notorious man in the news? Joke about it on Twitter (@GerrySandusky), of course!

He also put out a call for nicknames: The whole Jerry/Gerry Sandusky name confusion thing has me wondering, maybe I need a nickname for awhile. I'm open to all suggestions.

That was followed by this Tweet: Thanks for all the great nickname ideas. From G. to Sandy to Sandman to Voice, I love them all. Can I legally change my name to G.?

At least as far as Bmag is concerned, his official name is now Gerry "not THAT guy" Sandusky. Gerard, we got your back.
