Comedian and writer Mo Rocca, who was born in Washingon D.C. and grew up in Bethesda, has taken to his Twitter account to air his grievances about his (sort of) home state. Characterizing the entire state as "rednecky without the charm of the south" is a pretty sweeping generalization.

Not sure what Maryland ever did to him. Except give him the education that propelled him to Harvard then onto a successful career in the entertainment industry. So much for hometown pride.
