Forbes, a markedly uncool publication, ranks Baltimore #14 on its list of "America's Coolest Cities." Bethesda charted at #17, and Houston actually topped the list. Houston? Seems odd, but it probably makes sense if you also happen to check Pitchfork for stock tips.
