Two days ago, my brother-in-law, on his way to Singapore, stood in disbelief before a big screen TV inside the Jakarta airport. It wasn't broadcasting world news, economic updates, or info about Indonesian tourist spots. Instead, it was showing the Orioles/Mariners game, live. "And this is not a baseball country at all," he emailed. "This is as unbelievable as the O's themselves! We've gone global!" And the O's won, again.
