Anthony Bourdain spills his guts at the Hippodrome.

Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain has been known to push the envelope in his best-selling books and popular Travel Channel shows. So expect a no-holds-barred approach when the rebellious foodie comes to the Hippodrome Theatre on November 17 as a part of his nationwide Guts and Glory tour. “Bourdain brings a real, honest, raw look at food, travel, and the city of Baltimore,” says Hippodrome president Jeff Daniel. “Audiences just feed off his energy and hysterical commentary.” Indeed, last time Bourdain came to the Hippodrome, in May 2010, he joked about David Simon, walking the streets of Baltimore naked, and had less-than-kind things to say about TV chef Guy Fieri. This time should be equally entertaining, as Bourdain will take the stage solo and regale the audience with stories about his work and travels. As Daniel notes, “It’s a great show to just grab a beer and enjoy the discussion.”
