Today (Feb. 16) is party time—and that’s just what we need after all the snow. Head to Kooper’s Tavern, Slainte, and Woody’s Rum Bar in Fells Point to celebrate their own version of Mardi Gras.The restaurants will feature New Orleans specialties all day, including seafood gumbo, étouffée, and jambalaya. There’s also crawfish to peel for $10 a pound.
To add to the fun, the 98 Rock morning team (Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel) will be guest bartending from 4-7 p.m. at the three bars. At 7:30 p.m., Old Man Brown and Feinwood will do their zydeco and Cajun blues thing. In honor of the French Quarter, there will be Hurricane drink specials, too.
