Golden West Cafe in Hampden is hosting a musical lineup on Sept. 20 to benefit Springfield Farm. The originally planned daylong Sunday event at the Sparks farm has been canceled.
Instead, Golden West will feature Wye Oak, Birdland, Pilgrim, and DJ Jason Willett at its restaurant from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. on Monday. Admission is on a sliding scale of a $10-15 donation. Proceeds from the door, bar sales, and T-shirt sales will be donated to the farm, which has racked up huge bills fighting a zoning issue.
