Timothy Dean of Prime steakhouse in Baltimore and Tamesha Warren of The Oval Room in D.C., both from season seven of Bravo’s Top Chef, will be guest chefs at the National Aquarium’s Fresh Thoughts dining series. Local chef Jason Ambrose of Salt will also participate.
Dean’s featured entree will be mussels on Tuesday (Sept. 28). Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, a cooking demo by Dean, a three-course dinner prepared by The Classic Catering People, and an after-hours stroll through the Aquarium during the event from 6:30-9 p.m.
Besides a delicious meal, diners will also learn about sustainable seafood practices. The cost is $79 for members and $89 for nonmembers.
Warren, a sous chef at The Oval Room, will be cooking on Nov. 16; Ambrose, on Jan. 25. For more details, visit the Fresh Thoughts website.
