I’m not expecting that Anthony Bourdain’s holiday special will have us singing Christmas carols or hot-glue-gunning decorations, but it’s going to be fun. The Travel Channel explains the show like this: “Tony and [food writer] Michael Ruhlman prepare a holiday dinner that goes awry.”
Baltimore native Duff Goldman will pay a visit to the mischievous Bourdain along with other guests, including Mario Batali, David Chang, Pat LaFrieda, Ted Nugent, Marky Ramone, and a sock puppet called appropriately Mr. Socks, according to eater.com. The website also reported that Duff makes a turkey cake.
Even though the Food Network killed the Ace of Cakes—yes, other projects are in the works—Duff’s appearance shows that his star power still shines.
The show is on at 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6.
