It’s a contest with a prize. Michael Pollan—best-selling author of Ominvore’s Dilemma and a crusader for organic food—is seeking your input. He plans to publish an expanded edition of his best-selling book Food Rules, which offers 64 rules for eating well, and would like to know some of your food rules.
He’ll pick his favorite three and give the winners signed copies of the new book. The deadline for submission, through the Slow Food USA network, is Feb. 27.
Some of the rules from the original book include: Eat food cooked by humans, not corporations; buy a freezer; and stop eating before you’re full.
Of course, Pollan realizes we’re only human, so rule 64 is “Break the rules once in a while.”
