This weekend: Take a wine class

If you’re a new wine enthusiast or would like to take a refresher course, sign up for “Swirl 101,” being held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday. The class will guide you through the often-confusing world of wine terminology and grape varietals.

The session at Swirl Wine in Timonium also includes the basics of wine tasting and how to decode a wine label. The cost is $20. Contact the store to reserve a spot.
