MOM’S market opens May 28

The new MOM’s Organic Market in Timonium will celebrate its grand opening this Saturday through May 30 with goody bags, free food samplings, local vendor demos, kids activities, and raffle drawings.

This is the seventh store for the Maryland-based organic grocery company. It offers 100 percent organic produce as well as organic grocery and wellness products. The store also has a big selection of organic and natural dairy items, bulk foods, seafood, gluten-free foods, and more.

While working on our June Food Lovers Guide—which will be on news stands on Friday—I visited the MOM’s in Jessup and was impressed with the range of products. I bought the beautiful rainbow carrots, pictured, and lots of other stuff!

It will be great not to have to travel so far to shop there on a regular basis. I love the extra wide aisles, too.
