If you have a hankering for a pretty cupcake topped with a two-to-three-inch swirl of frosting, look no farther than the Haagen Dazs store in Harbor East. Tucked inside the ice-cream shop is a counter of confections made by Caroline's Cupcakery.
The mini-branch of the Locust Point store opened on Friday. Flavors include vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, PB & Joy, and a different specialty every day of the week. Today, it is citrus and coconut.
The cost is $3 each or $33 a dozen.
Cupcakery owner Caroline Jones's creations stay true to her belief that "there is no such thing as too much icing!"
