Thanks to the dozens of people who took the time to enter our contest and share their favorite markets. Here are the four winners of our random drawing and their comments:
Heather Newman supports Milk & Honey Market because its "sustainable practice, local buy in, awesome eats, and a chill vibe make Milk & Honey the go-to place for me and my family."
Bridget Forney wrote that the Baltimore Farmers' Market is "always changing with the seasons, and everyone is always so friendly!"
Rachel Lucke likes One Straw Farm: "I much prefer my CSA to any market. It's so much more pleasant to pick up my weekly veggies from the drop site than to maneuver a cart through cramped aisles and cranky folks at most area grocery stores!"
Eduardo Azcarate goes to The Market at Belvedere Square: "It has a good variety of specialty food stores and places to eat in as well."
Other markets mentioned in the responses were Eddie's of Roland Park, Trinacria Foods, Waverly Farmers' Market, Pennsylvania Dutch Market, Graul's Market, Wegmans, Catonsville Farmers' Market, Bel Air Farmers' Market, H Mart, Baltimorganic CSA, Johns Hopkins Farmers' Market, Asia Food, and early support for the soon-to-open Green Onion in Hamilton.
MOM's Organic Market, Milk & Honey Market, Atwater's, and Eddies of Roland Park donated $50 gift certificates to the lucky winners.
