Chef Cyrus Keefer has taken over the kitchen at Maisy's in downtown Baltimore. His food at the short-lived Brasserie 10 South on South Calvert St. received 3 ½ stars from The Sun's Elizabeth Large in 2009.
I never got there. The restaurant soon changed its name, switching to a more casual menu than the New American, French-influenced cuisine that chef Cyrus was offering to rave reviews.
Cyrus will be unveiling a new menu at Maisy's soon. I can't wait.
The chef, who trained at Philadelphia's Walnut Hill College Restaurant School, has worked at the award-winning restaurants Espuma, Nage, and Eden in Rehoboth Beach, DE. He also helmed at Sauté in Canton and has worked in other area restaurant kitchens before landing at Maisy's.
