Enjoy a five-course, crab-tasting dinner with former Top Chef contestant Bryan Voltaggio on Aug. 27 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, pictured, in Cambridge.
Earlier that day, guests will have an opportunity to meet Bryan—the chef/co-owner of VOLT in Frederick—and watch as he serves as a celebrity judge of a crab "iron-chef competition."
The event is part of the hotel's second annual Crab Week celebration from Aug. 14-28, which includes crab feasts, crabbing lessons, and a crab-cake-eating contest. Activities for kids include crab cookie making, crab-walk contests, and crabby tattoos.
