Rocker/pie-maker Rodney Henry of Dangerously Delicious Pies is going to open a shop in Austin, Texas, according to a recent blog post on his website. The Baltimore and D.C. operations will continue.
Rodney wrote: "I hope to have [the shop] together and open by the middle of October, but definitely by November. This won't affect Baltimore or DC. I love Baltimore and DC. Both have been my home for 40 years of my life. The shops rule as do the people. I'll be up every month doing my thing. But Austin's ready and I'm ready for it. I mean, I'm really ready."
His announcement comes on the heels of his visit to Austin in June, where he was "slinging pie and playing music."
