Several Baltimore restaurants are participating in Dine Out for Farms week Oct. 16-22. They’ll offer special dishes and donate the proceeds to help save farms and ranches.
Local restaurants include Clementine, Gertrude's at the BMA, Dogwood Café, Feast@4 East, Tapas Teatro, b, a Bolton Hill bistro, The Helmand, and Alonso’s/Loco Hombre. For a complete list, visit the American Farmland Trust website.
The weeklong event is sponsored by the Farmland Trust, which espouses “No Farms, No Food.” Its mission is to support farmers, an aging population that faces many economic hurdles these days, and to help a younger generation continue our farming traditions.
Twenty-two states are participating in the weeklong event.
