RSS FEEDNo Maryland finalists this year. Spike Gjerde of Woodberry Kitchen, Bryan Voltaggio of Volt in Frederick, and Cindy Wolf of Charleston were among the nominees for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic in the 2012 James Beard Awards. But they weren't among the finalists who were named today.
Charleston had also received semifinalist nominations in the Outstanding Restaurant and Outstanding Wine Program categories. They also did not move on to be finalists.
