It's almost here. The third Foodie Experience at the Hippodrome Theatre happens Saturday. There's still time to get tickets.
Andrew Zimmern, pictured, who recently won a James Beard Award for his Bizarre Foods show on the Travel Channel, will be the guest speaker. He's on a national tour, and if you'd like to find out what he told foodrepublic.com after his appearance at the Austin Food and Wine Festival, you can watch the video here.
I don't know if he'll cover the same topics: Anthony Bourdain and No Reservations, baseball (not the O's), and bizarre foods, of course, but it's worth checking out.
Zimmern will go on stage at 6 p.m. tomorrow. Before that, dozens of Baltimore's top restaurants and food trucks will be feeding ticket holders, starting at 3 p.m.
The weather should be gorgeous for this food fest. Wear expandable clothing or your fat jeans. I plan to. See you there.
