Townhouse Kitchen + Bar, a new Harbor East restaurant, is scheduled to open May 24. It will feature American fare with a twist for lunch and dinner, a table-tap technology providing draft beer at individual tables, more than 40 local beers on tap, and outdoor dining.
The chef is Bryan Perdue, who grew up in Ocean City and has worked in restaurant kitchens since he was 15. He has held a variety of positions, including fine-dining chef, pastry chef, and bread baker. He's known for his award-winning crab cakes and other dishes.
At Townhouse, the chef will create his signature American fare with Latin, Asian, and Mediterranean influences. The menu will offer a variety of shared plates, salads, fire-grilled skewers, tacos, and more.
The new restaurant is part of the Restaurants-America group, which owns and operates a bunch of restaurants nationwide.
And, good news for job seekers, they're still looking for servers and bartenders at the restaurant.
