The ice cream is chocolate-based with a Duckpin finish, Charmery owner David Alima said in an email. It's expected to be a sellout.
The popular ice-cream parlor, which opened on The Avenue in July, has an interesting lineup of rotating flavors, including Old Bay caramel, Maryland mud, and coffee by Spro. I'm particularly fond of the shop's sesame-and-sunflowers ice cream.
I also have to give a shout out to Prigel Family Creamery's caramel pretzel ice cream, which I devoured recently. The Glen Arm farm store has some other great flavors in addition to its scenic country location.
There's never too much ice cream in one's life.
