With former Ravens' tackle Jonathan Ogden's introduction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this past weekend, his high school, St. Albans in Washington, D.C., put some pics of its old gridirion star out on Flickr.
Let's just say Ogden was not a late bloomer.
The first player ever selected in the NFL Draft by the Ravens, Ogden towered over teammates and opponents in high school. Come to think of it, he kinda did in the pro's, too.
In the above photo, St. Albans' running back Phil Perry smartly has both arms wrapped around the pigskin and is following the future 11-time Pro Bowler — in full stride — upfield.
A clip of Ogden's Hall of Fame induction speech can be found here.
Congrats, Jonathan. We've never seen anybody play left tackle better.
