The local authors of a "Food Lovers' Guide to Baltimore" will be signing copies of their new book tonight (March 15) from 6-8 p.m. at The Mallow Bar in Rosedale. The event was postponed a few weeks ago because of weather concerns.
Guests who stop by the "dessert bar" will get free hot chocolate shots and 10 percent off any cafe purchase. The shop is known for its signature Mallow Crunchies—crispy rice-cereal treats made with homemade marshmallow.
You can also meet Towson residents Kathy Wielech Patterson and her husband Neal, who wrote the "Food Livers' Guide." Their book is a great resource to area restaurants, markets, breweries, wineries, and more. It also includes recipes from several restaurants.
Kathy has been writing the blog Minxeats.com for years. It's worth checking out, too.
